Objective OBJECTIVESAn imbalance in the use of electronic information services between the different regions of Europe has been noted. Familiarity with the electronic transmission of information is in fact still very weak in economically disadvantaged regions. This project intends to promote and energise the use of electronic information services through the SMEs and thus help increase their competitiveness. More specifically, the partners will endeavour to perfect, disclose and disseminate the MUSIC training product (Multimedia materials for Software, Information and Communication technologies) on communication and telecommunication technologies developed in the framework of the European COMMET II programme.ACTIVITIESThe partners carry out awareness-raising measures aimed at the SMEs on the use of electronic information services and distribute modems free of charge. At the same time, they improve and finalise the MUSIC product on a multimedia aid and develop a distinct training module for training the employees of the SMEs in the use of new communication technologies. The electronic information services training module is then tested with a pilot group of end users (SMEs) and assessed.
