Improving the infrastructure for metrology in chemistry in the candidate new member states (QUA-NAS)

Objective

International trade is critically dependent on the comparability of analytical results. Reliable chemical measurements are necessary to support EU policies in areas like health care, food safety, workplace safety, consumer protection, environmental management etc. The main purpose of this Network is to create an extensive forum form for the improvement of the infrastructure for metrology in chemistry in the New Associated States (NAS) by a transfer of knowledge between the EU ad the NAS countries. The emphasis of the network will be given to three main sectors, namely environmental, food and clinical. Dissemination across different user communities will guarantee that these concepts are firmly embedded.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: https://op.europa.eu/en/web/eu-vocabularies/euroscivoc.
