Objective Clogging is still a problem to solve. To achieve a break through in this project a new basic knowledge will be elaborated as a basis for the development of new strategies for clogging prevention like new feeding system designs in conjunction with innovative gas injection, prediction and control of clogging.This will be done in an integrated approach concerning chemical and physical phenomena in conjunction with an extensive operational database using advanced or newly developed investigation and measurement methods.The obtained results will be verified by operational data and trials with a view to a final implementation of the new strategies in the operational praxis.
