It provides abstracts of Community RTD publications in addition to a review of RTD results, policies and activities. The February 1995 issue examines the theme of telematics in education and training, with particular reference to the Community's DELTA programme, which supports the design and implementation of telematics systems in this area. A new section on book reviews looks at recent Community RTD publications. The February issue includes a round-up of programme evaluations: - Evaluation of the Radiation Protection research programme; - Evaluation of the Human Genome programme; - Evaluation of the JOULE programme; - Evaluation of the MONITOR programme; - Mid-term evaluation of the Human Capital and Mobility programme. An article on the future of science, technology and innovation in Russia presents two OECD reports on Russia's prospects in the field of RTD and technical and scientific expertise. In addition, the issue contains an extract from a study published by the AIR programme on the state of the art in the field of biofuels. The February edition includes some 40 pages of abstracts of recent Community publications on research, science and technology. These cover a wide range of subjects: chemistry, earth sciences, engineering and technology, energy, life sciences, materials, mathematics, computers and telecommunications, nuclear science and engineering, and physics.
