Objective We expect to develop a more efficient database application with simple user interfaces and selectable module functionality's. We plan to use new and modern software engineering methods to make the whole system more visible to the customer (e.g. through a structured design method) so that the customer can partly be integrated into project performance. This will ensure that the customer's requirements will be fully satisfied. The project engineers will employ a comprehensive and structured design method which allows to make the whole system visible and understandable in spite of the complexity of the whole system.Additionally we will employ an efficient test method (test plan, test documentation, correction reports, test execution) which ensures that (i) a very reliable system will be delivered to the customer, and that (ii) the maintenance activities will be based on documented material about tests and corrections so that the effort in maintenance is minimised. Finally we will take into account the issue of reusability and set up data and module repository so that the developed modules can be reused in follow up projects.
