Programme of Training Courses to be taught in the Republic of Argentine

Objective

The programme is the result of a request made by the Argentine Secretary of Electrical Energy to help in covering energy training needs of industrial and service facilities in order to achieve a better qualifications of the energy operators.
To upgrade the training levels of management and maintenance personnel in the Residential and Services sectors; to increase the know-how of installer companies with a view to ensuring better public service and greater safety; to raise energy efficiency and environmental protection levels in general.
CADEM S.A. a public company operating under the auspices of the Basque Government Department of Industry and Energy, submitted a general proposal consisting of a wide range of energy training courses designed to provide different levels of qualification. The Secretary has selected five courses, each concerned with a different area. The courses selected are as follows:
- Energy maintenance in fluid networks.
- Energy maintenance in industrial refrigeration.
- Energy efficiency in hospitals and public buildings.
- Efficient energy management in sports complexes.
- Safety and energy efficiency for steam boiler operators.
All this courses will be taught by leading specialists from univeristies and industry. Classroom learning will be reinforced by the use of modern teaching aids, including equipment and process simulators able to detect and quantify negative energy consumption incidents arising out of improper energy management.
