ECO-SEE final conference

The EU-funded ECO-SEE project will be organising its final conference in Brussels, Belgium in the afternoon of 29 June 2017.

29 June 2017 - 29 June 2017
Brussels, Belgium
Called ‘90% indoors: Solutions for healthy and energy efficient buildings’ the event presents policy makers, industry, building designers and academia with the opportunity to learn how innovative eco-materials can help address both indoor air quality and energy efficiency in buildings. Given that we spend 90 % of our lives indoors and the fact that air quality inside buildings has been shown to be 2 to 5 times poorer than outdoors, new ideas are well worth sharing.

Topics to be covered include: overcoming market barriers to the deployment of bio-based solutions for energy efficient buildings, integrating IAQ and eco-materials in industrial strategies, and the question ‘What place for eco-materials and indoor air quality in EU and national policies?’

ECO-SEE is a four-year project that set out to develop and assess the performance of innovative eco-building materials. As the project is nearing its conclusion, this event will build on the results of the project as well as input from other similar initiatives.
