An event entitled 'New technologies in safety and public order' will take place from 12 to 14 October 2011 in Szczytno, Poland.

Modern technologies have created significant opportunities for the enhancement of public safety. This includes not only in times of crisis management, but also in combating criminal activity. The effectiveness of institutions responsible for security and public order can be significantly impacted by the use of modern solutions, both technological as well as advanced information technology tools.
