Objetivo This research is intended to investigate the possibilities of compacting certain sinter constituent materials without any loss of sinter quality, thus allowing fine and ultra-fine materials, dusts and sludges or cheaper constituents to be recycled, with ensuing positive environmental impact. Densification by high-pressure lamination and subsequent breaking will be studied, leading to improved granulation and sintering performance.
