Data Management Plan (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

Data Management Plan (DMP) in line with the FAIR principles that will be established at the beginning of the project (M4). The DMP will further be consistent with the intellectual property right (IPR) policy (i.e., IP, confidentiality, and publication provisions) to be defined in the Consortium Agreement and updated as any changes occur in the consortium, curation and/or legal policies. It will describe how HVDC-WISE will collect, process, share and protect the data produced by the project partners, both during and after the project. It will include a section about open access to research data.

Simulation results from the library of models (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

The models from the library will be tested and the results will be presented.

Models and guidelines on modelling approaches and model description (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

Existing modelling approaches for power electronic components will be reviewed. Required models will be implemented, tested, and potentially compared. This report will also provide, for the technologies identified in task 4.1, the necessary ranges of realistic values for key parameters to enable the selection of grid configurations in the planning process.

Identification of key technologies, potential benefits and restrictions (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

Well-established technologies will be considered here to study their compliance with new requirements (from WP2 and WP3) and inform about possible limitations regarding feasibility or performance. Solutions currently at low TRLs will also be considered. Two versions of this report will be issued at M6 and M12.

Scope and specifications of the tools and model needs (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

This report define the studies to be carried out on tools (planning or operation) together with their framework and granularity requirements and the functionalities to be added to existing simulation and planning tools and needs possible additional for models, interfaces and data sharing to successfully carry out R&R-oriented expansion and operation studies including AC/DC architectures.

This report will summarise project key data project infrastructure and management It will also deal with dissemination rules

Methodology to address HVDC design options and enhancing system resilience (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

This report will define a common methodology for R&R-oriented HVDC-based reinforcement to be applied to use cases. This will comprise key indicators, practical assumptions, operational scenarios, and types of disturbances to address the nature of analyses to be performed as well as the used software tools. Two versions of this report will be issued at M18 and M21.

Resilience needs and objectives (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

This report will present TSO’s expectations of required R&R as it applies to the deployment of HVDC solutions within their networks, and to identify opportunities areas where new HVDC capabilities may deliver additional R&R benefits. The report will also define R&R metrics and present key barriers and risks between the current state of the art and future achievable grid architecture concepts basedon technologies available within the next 5-10 years.

Tool for cascading event quantification and operational mitigation strategies (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

The toolkit of simulators suitable for R&R applications and quantification will be built on existing advanced cascading simulators. It will allow dynamic simulation functions, including cascading based on dynamic simulation, needed to compute security, risk and resilience indices. Existing tools will be expanded to incorporate the control and protection concepts of the AC/DC architecture and associated operation strategies. Two versions of this deliverable will be issued at M15 and M23.

Library of models (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

A public library of models will be provided. It will include standardised models from T4.3 and parameters to enable selection of grid configurations from T4.2.

Visual identity, project website and social network accounts (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

A project website social media channels and visual identity will be developed Partners will develop materials to generate public awareness following best practices for communication and research dissemination including open access publishingThey will ensure the project representation in EU Commission related agency industry events including related coordination and support action meetings They will disseminate regular project updates and summary of project workshops
