Objective
Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) is emerging as a key cross-domain technology of sixth-generation (6G) networks, with the potential to transform sectors such as autonomous driving, smart cities, and sustainable infrastructure. The MICCAS-6G project (Multi-view Intelligent Collaborative Communication and Sensing) aims to overcome the limitations of conventional single-view ISAC by developing a collaborative multi-view framework where distributed base stations and users jointly sense and communicate. By advancing synchronization, calibration, distributed signal processing, and artificial intelligence (AI), the project seeks to enable accurate, robust, and deployable ISAC in complex real-world environments.
Despite its potential, the MICCAS system faces key challenges. Achieving precise synchronization and calibration across distributed nodes is critical but difficult; heterogeneous measurements from different views complicate data fusion; large-scale networks introduce coordination overhead; and high-dimensional sensing data demands scalable processing. To address these challenges, MICCAS-6G is structured around three integrated work packages: synchronization and calibration (WP1), collaborative sensing algorithms (WP2), and AI-driven data processing (WP3). Together they will establish the foundations of a deployable multi-view ISAC architecture.
Expected outcomes include novel synchronization schemes, low-complexity distributed algorithms, and robust AI-based fusion methods. These results will support applications in mobility, logistics, and public safety, while contributing to EU priorities such as the Digital Decade 2030, the European Green Deal, and Horizon Europe's twin transition. At the same time, the fellowship will broaden the researcher's expertise in wireless communications, machine learning, and project leadership, providing a unique career-building opportunity and positioning to enable him to become an independent research in 6G research.

Net EU financial contribution. The sum of money that the participant receives, deducted by the EU contribution to its linked third party. It considers the distribution of the EU financial contribution between direct beneficiaries of the project and other types of participants, like third-party participants.
