WP1 has been completed in RP1.
WP2:
the main objective of the WP2 had been met in RP2, but the work in this RP allowed for updating and extending the communication requirements to take into account the outcomes of demonstration activities and to provide input for extracting the lessons learnt and the final recommendations of the project.
WP3: The steps completed within RP3 to contribute to achieving this objective, as stated in the Grant Agreement, are the following:
In RP3 the second demonstration phase was successfully completed. The detailed definition of the performed tests for each BUC, the outcomes of the tests for all demonstration sites, and the KPIs have been documented in D3.6. and submitted at the end of May 2022. The analysis of the entire demonstration campaign, with focus on the second phase, was documented in the final report of WP3, D3.7 submitted in June 2022.
WP4: As agreed on in the GA, this objective has mostly been achieved in the Swedish demonstration.
The following activities have ensured the achievement of the objective:
1. Definition and execution of a process of large scale market-based customer engagement through open and non-discriminatory calls in the sub-demo sites,
2. Maximization of acceptance and utilization of local markets in DSO and TSO organisations.
3. Design and development of a well-accepted market platform for all users.
4. Integration of the market place into existing systems, applications and data, and to field devices (Smart Meters).
5. Definition of business models and future planning and operation models able to benefit and value the increased efficiency resulting from the collaboration between TSO-DSO-market participants in the value chain of Ancillary Services.
6. Definition of a market design process suitable to encompass regional constraints as a pricing factor.
WP5: Within RP3, four deliverables were submitted, i.e. D5.5 D5.7 D5.8 and D5.9. D5.5 describes the activities related to customer and consumer engagement as well as the organization of support schemes. It was submitted two month late, in M40, due to a delay in the installation of the equipment in the irrigation pumps at the Kefalonia pilot site. D5.7 presents the advancements on the deployment of the identified adaptations and modifications, which were implemented and tested during the second phase of the Greek demonstration within the CoordiNet project. D5.8 presents the results of the final testing of the CoordiNet solution as well as a list of the results compiled, while D5.9 presents the evaluation of Phase 2 Testing according to the evaluation procedures described in Task 5.1
WP6: During RP3, the vast majority of the work was related to WP6.
the results of the different analyses have been included in the CoordiNet Roadmap (and coordinet public booklet), together with further analyses and insights from project and external stakeholders. The roadmap provides recommendations for an adapted market design at EU level and necessary policies to support this. In the three demo countries a more detailed assessment has been made, and findings have thereafter been generated.
WP7 and WP8 continued to support the Project and the Consortium activities.
