Objective
Plataforma Civiciti, S.L. (from now on Plataforma Civiciti) is an ICT company specialized in participatory democracy tools whose aim is to globally commercialise its main product: CIVICITI.
CIVICITI is a neutral and independent participation platform created to help public administrations, organisations, businesses and the overall citizenship to discover, discuss and take decisions about their issues of concern. It is therefore a two-way interaction platform between various actors interested in a common issue.
The company’s main mission is to reinforce participatory digital democracy, enriching the relationship between the citizenship and the public administration. Its vision is to be the global standard for digital participatory democracy. Based on a SaaS environment and using patented e-voting technology , CIVICITI is able to provide disruptive solutions to public institutions regardless of their size.
At it is stated in the reflection paper on the social dimension of Europe : “Building confidence and trust is essential for progress, modernisation and openness to change”. CIVICITI responds to the global need and concern of building trust and promoting engagement between the citizenship and the public sector. The platform aims to close the existing and increasing gap between these two actors. For this reason, CIVICITI offers an affordable, scalable, customizable, user-friendly and ready to use platform, thus allowing citizens to easily participate in the decision-making processes and helping the public administrations to take better decisions for all’s profit. Therefore, thanks to CIVICITI, public authorities and other actors are able to better communicate about their policies and/or concrete projects, receive feedback and carry out secure and binding voting processes.
