Exploitable results Integrated hot fuel gas cleaning for advanced gasification combined cycle processes The cleaning of hot fuel gases fromgasified coal was investigated througha combination of techno-economicstudies, modelling, and laboratory-,pilot- and commercial-scale assess-ments.The project provided an im-provedunderstanding of abatementprocesses, plus further development oftechniques for the measurement andcontrol of pollutants. The results arehighly relevant to the commercialisa-tionof air blown gasification technol-ogy,and as such have significant ex-ploitationpotential.
