Objective The objective is to design, manufacture, erect and operate a Component Test Facility (CTF) to test high temperature durable new materials needed to realise a coal based power plant with efficiencies above 50%.High efficiencies safe resources and avoid emissions. A share of up to 20% of (CO2 neutral) biomass can be added to the fuel resulting in a further avoidance of anthropogenic CO2.The real European consortium of major utilities and manufacturers ensures in itself the dissemination of the results in Europe and worldwide. The project will contribute to increase the competitiveness of the European power industry.
