Work related to the utilization of Community RTD results
The Commission issues an invitation to tender with a view to drawing up a list of experts and consultants for work relating to the utilization of the results of Community research and technological development (COMEX 1). Its aim is to draw up a select list of contractors to assist the Commission in dissemination and optimization work arising from past, present and future programmes within the Community Framework programmes for RTD (featuring specific programmes such as ESPRIT, BRITE/EURAM, RACE, JOULE, BAP, etc.). The work to be carried out by selected contractors will be determined by the Commission and may involve the following activities: Evaluation of the exploitation potential of research results; specialist advice for the design and drafting of exploitation plans; assistance in seeking industrial partners; prospective studies on markets and scientific and technological developments; advice on obtaining financial assistance from third parties; assistance in organizing events to promote Community R&D; identification and characterization of the results of research and technological development by appropriate means, plus involvement in the updating, maintenance and exploitation of databases on Community research and technological development; general studies on subjects relating to the dissemination and exploitation of R&D; legal assistance.A tender dossier plus mandatory application form is available from: Commission of the European Communities Directorate-General XIII Telecommunications, information industries and innovation Directorate C Administrative unit "Promoting exploitation of Community research and technological development (XIII/C/2) batiment Jean Monnet C4/21 L-2920 Luxembourg Tel. +352-43012954/-43013453
