Innovative approaches towards prevention, removal and reuse of marine plastic litter

Technology requirements will be defined and subsequent data is to be gathered. Each demonstration site is to have its own set of KPI's defined from the beginning and reported. For the software app, different set of KPI's are to be adapted and contend with throughout the project length.Method of evaluation will be determined accordingly and covered in the form of areport which will be handed over as a deliverable.

Final Report of clean-up, learnings and stakeholder's mobilisation (si apre in una nuova finestra)

These reports will enable In-No-Plastic to evaluate the solutions and extend them to other hotspot sites including Effect on BlueEconomy and Clean-Up-Economy. It will also identify a way forward and lay the foundations forupscaling with a view to a future potentially automated removal of historically accumulated marine litter in particular at hot-spots of accumulated marine litter.

Quality, health, safety, regulatory and environment document and standards (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Execution of quality monitoring and process control to keep in check methodologies and measurements are consistent at different localities maintaining quality Safety regulation per site are to be addressed and followed Environmental issues and regulations will be followed with reports provided by EHS officer on site

Summary of pre-treatment strategies (si apre in una nuova finestra)

The summary report to be delivered containing information on pre-treatment of collected plastic dependent on composition, wettability and sun exposure with sorting to be done depending on their color, size and type.

RRI assessment of RRI readiness (si apre in una nuova finestra)

The beneficiary is to integrate RRI into the whole innovation activity through the elements of RRI strategy, RRI action and Training.

Summary of Social and environmental assessments (si apre in una nuova finestra)

The beneficiary will provide a quantitative and qualitative overview of the societal and environmental assessments, in the form of a report, made throughout the project length.

Final Version D5.1 KPI's (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Technology requirements will be defined and subsequent data is to be gathered. Each demonstration site is to have its own set of KPI's defined from the beginning and reported. For the software app, different set of KPI's are to be adapted and contend with throughout the project length.Method of evaluation will be determined accordingly and covered in the form of areport which will be handed over as a deliverable.

Circularity strategy for collected marine litter (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Summary document containing the output of the Work package 2 and 3 clean-up and this Work Package 4 combined the assessments of WP5 provide a strategy for collected marine litter recycling.

Summary of LCA's (si apre in una nuova finestra)

The beneficiary needs to provide summaries of all the different types of LCA's i.e primary data, combination of primary and 3rd data, simplified model for first analysis etc..

Project website and logo (si apre in una nuova finestra)

The beneficiary will handle logo creation website development and maintenance update social media regularly and be an up to date online presence across all social platforms

Motion graphics info-animation and project video (si apre in una nuova finestra)

The selected beneficiary will develop and release one Video News Release and exploit using VR technology in raising awareness among the population in a visual and interactive manner

Additional features in Software App and Platform (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Tools to be delivered in the software application for traceability and trackability of plastic waste from their source of origin and to track their point of collection to its end point-blockchain tech implemented to secure the immutability of the data entered into the software system.

Enhanced software App (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Existing prototype of the application to be upgraded to suit the requirements of In-No-Plastics through SMART integration of reward system, tracking of plastic flow and block-chain based backhand system design with iterative use of UX design to create ease for public use.
