Inventory report of needs and gaps within and across region and the associated background issues An inventory of farmers needs required to increase the overall resilience of their business will be created. This will be completed by use of surveys in the Dairy Farm Networks as well as by use of a number of different stakeholders and farmers of varying levels of technical innovation at farm level in the National Dairy AKIS. A key focus of this task will be to create a breakdown of the needs of different groups of types of farmers previously identified in the National Dairy AKIS. This breakdown will form the basis of the Knowledge Work Plans to develop tailored solutions for different cohorts of

A set of 50 EIP-AGRI Practices Abstract - V1 (si apre in una nuova finestra)

"Practice Abstracts (First set of practice abstracts) (Month 18) The resulting innovative knowledge and easy accessible end-user material from this project will feed into the EIP-AGRI (The agricultural European Innovation Partnership) website for broad dissemination. The end-user material to be produced contains a substantial number of summaries for practitioners in the EIP common format (""practice abstracts""), including the characteristics of the project (e.g. contact details of partners, etc). A full package of practice abstracts will be produced by the project, containing all the outcomes/recommendations which are ready for practice. A practice abstract is a short summary of around 1000-1500 characters (word count – no spaces; see below) which describes the main information/recommendation/practice that can serve the end-users in their daily practice. Guidance and templates for these practice abstracts are available on the EIPAGRI web site: http://ec.europa.eu/eip/agriculture/en/content/eip-agri-common-format . A total target number of 100 practice abstracts is foreseen for the project."

Mid-term update Communication and Dissemination plan for R4D (si apre in una nuova finestra)

R4D methodology and guidelines for on-farm demonstration (si apre in una nuova finestra)

In R4D cross fertilisation activities among farmers are very important. Therefore, R4D will develop a common methodology and guidelines to ensure efficient exchange between farmers from one region, or even farmers from different regions. The methodology will describe how to organise peer to peer learning events (pilot farm visit, on field events, on farm demonstration) and informal exchange activities between practitioners. A mentoring program where farmers are mentors and coaches for other farmers will be an important part of the methodology.

National Dairy AKIS' Knowledge Work Plans (si apre in una nuova finestra)

The solutions inventoried and the farmer needs as well as gaps will be combined to create a set of tailored Knowledge Work Plans (covering the Knowledge Areas) for different cohorts of farmers in each National Dairy AKIS. The 16 Knowledge Work Plans will constitute the knowledge exchange activities (work packages 3 and 4) within and between National Dairy AKIS in the three Knowledge Areas throughout the project timeline. Therefore, each Farm facilitator will have their own roadway with regard to the needs of its National Dairy AKIS and solutions available. Knowledge Work Plans will pay specific attention for the harmonisation of dataset and solutions to provide Work package 3 with robust information. A key outcome here will be the integration of solutions from similar situations and scenarios. Special focus will also be on whether issues are technology adoptions based, or availability based within regions.

Report on description of the 120 Pilot-Farms and their systems & practices (si apre in una nuova finestra)

This document will present all Pilot Farms. Their main characteristics and practices will be fully described, especially innovative practices (why did they choose such innovation, how did they manage to apply them on their farm, what was easy/difficult, what are the important things to consider, how can they assess these changes…).

Report on the Farm Facilitator training session (si apre in una nuova finestra)

This report will detail the contents of the training session (teaching methods, tools and means), organised for the 16 Farms Facilitators. They will benefit from a full training on the following elements for instance: (i) specification of management procedure for the network, (ii) training on to the practical collection of information and data and design questionnaires, (iii) training on video recording and communication principles, (iv) technical training with the Knowledge Facilitators on the 3 Knowledge Areas covered by R4D, (v) training on facilitating skills and abilities in a multi-actor ecosystems addressing subjects, (vi) training on cost-benefit analysis. Some update of this report will be done with exchange experiences and feedback from Farm Facilitators during the project

Monitoring protocol for Best Practices implemented in Pilot-Farms (si apre in una nuova finestra)

In order to monitor the performance of the best practices, implemented in the pilot farms of the DFN (DFN), a monitoring protocol will be developed, allowing all partners to applicate a common monitoring methodology. This enables the project to benchmark the performance of the Best Practices in a qualitative way, taking into account the different contexts.

Report on results of the third round of assessment (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Inventory report of solutions and technologies and their context available within and across regionsThrough the use of; surveys, National Workshops for farmers, advisors, researchers and stake holders within the dairy industry - an inventory of existing solutions and technologies will be created. The structure of surveys and National Workshops will be in based on the three Knowledge Areas; (1) economic efficiency, (2) technical efficiency, (3) environmental, welfare and society friendly production systems. The key goal within this task will be to gain an understanding of the solutions and technologies already being used within regions, countries, farm type and farmer type. This will provide a broader understanding thus ensuring the solutions formulated will be appropriate for the context.

Communication and dissemination plan for R4D (si apre in una nuova finestra)

R4D strategic plan will build on EuroDairy communication and dissemination successful activities in order to reuse best channels and tools to reach dairy practitioners. The audio-visual material will be completed by adding subtitles and translations up to 12 languages to the videos developed.

Data Management Plan V3 (si apre in una nuova finestra)

A R4D Data Management Plan (DMP) will be developed as a support to the data management life cycle specifying how data will be collected, processed, monitored, catalogued, and disseminated during the project lifetime. This DMP aims at ensuring the compliance of EuroSheep with the H2020 Open Access Policy and will detail how the project will be connected with the EIP-Agri and what standards will be used. This document will be updated on a regular basis. Regarding the compliance with GDPR policy, a map of personal data will be done at the beginning of the project as well as the associated risks. Then some process will be set up to make sure the consortium complies with the regulations. Finally Efficient Innovation will create the necessary documentation to show how the consortium is acting. It could be part of the DMP.
