Sustainable Collective Citizen Action for a Local Europe 20-30-50

SCCALE thematic workshops and recorded webinar (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This includes recorded 6 webinars on the Toolkit and its features. Each webinar will be spent on one of the tools.

SCCALE Library (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The SCCALE Library refers to an overview of proven efficient technical and business tools, contractual templates and business models. This overview is based on information from the project partners, their respective networks, and external experts.

Communication and Media Package (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

A set of communication tools will be developed and tailored to the SCCALE 20-30-50 target groups. This deliverable will collect all the tools that will be delivered by the project:- A project visual identity- A dedicated website will be used for knowledge systematisation and dissemination. The website will include a user-friendly interface hosting all main content produced and allowing for easy access and download. Cross-linking and referencing with the partners’ websites as well as with other external platforms (including the Community Power Coalition, Covenant of Mayors website, etc.) will be supported.- A presentation flyer will be produced in the first phase of the project to inform relevant target groups about its objectives and expected impacts.Other online materials and print-outs will be produced according to the specific project communication needs.- Podcasts with Interviews and stories of committed Cooperatives and Municipality representatives who are inspiring contributors to the energy transition.We will further develop a media package for European media including press releases, op-eds and podcasts which will be disseminated to main European media such as EU online portals and media focusing on sustainable energy and EU policies and EU institutions’ communication departments. All pilot sites will use local communication and media packages to ensure a wide replication of the project results in the targeted territories.

Packaging of the SCCALE Toolkit (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This deliverable aims to provide an easy-to-read digest of the SCCALE Toolkit to inspire other communities and local authorities around Europe wishing to replicate the governance, economic, technical or contractual models used in the five main pilot areas. It will be written in a visual and storytelling format in order to facilitate understanding and dissemination to a wider public. The chapter descriptions will be supported by infographics and disseminated during the project capacity building workshops and final event as well as during most relevant national and European events in the years following the completion of the project. This Toolkit will also be translated into the pilot country languages.

Reports from public meetings during replications (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This report will include the results of 20 public meetings during replications including:- A list of participants- Pictures from the event- Notes of the meeting

Structure of the standardized action plans (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This report will bring together the standardized actions plans of the pilots sites.

SCCALE Financing Guide (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The Financing Guide refers to a report collecting a comprehensive assessment of financing schemes and guidance on appropriate financing mechanisms for energy communities, using a structured evaluation scheme focusing on community-driven and citizen-led action.

SCCALE Monitoring Tool (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This report will described the monitoring tool: Using insights from the literature study and based on the work of the COMPILE project (Maturity Scale) and the Interreg 2 Seas SHIFFT project, TUD will develop KPIs to assess progress, impact and effectiveness of different types of collective citizen actions.

SCCALE Policy Recommendation (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This report will include policy recommendations addressing barriers to the development of energy communities. Those recommendations will be produced for the European level and adapted for each target country (FR, BE, NL, HR and GR).

SCCALE Methodological Guide (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This guide will be a collection of roadmaps and action plans covering the areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy production or local distribution management. These elements will be pulled together into one comprehensive methodology described in this guide.

Collection the 21 collective action plans from replication sites.

Report on the Validation workshop (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The report will include the attendance list, pictures and meeting notes of the validation workshop for the pilot and replication sites on the use of the monitoring tool.

Event report on the SCCALE Capacity Building Tour (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

5 workshops will be organised in Romania, Serbia, Estonia, Spain and Italy as part of the SCCALE Capacity Building Tour. This report will collect the notes, attendance list and pictures of the 5 capacity building workshops, targeting national community leaders and municipalities. This report will also include the training materials, the outreach strategy and number and type of participants.

Literature review on collective citizen actions (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This report will be a review of academic and professional literature will map and assess state of the art insights into collective citizen actions at neighborhood level targeting energy efficiency and renewable energy technology measures. The literature review will address relevant theory, methodology, and empirical studies on collective citizen action perspectives, implementation, effects, effectiveness, and impact. It will take into account issues like the rebound effect, energy poverty, and energy justice, social inclusiveness, and the use of digital tools.

Ethics Report (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The ethics report will describe the data management process for the project including the name of the Data Privacy Officer for the project. The ethics report will also highlight the main ethical challenges (including inclusiveness and gender balance) that will be faced by the project and mitigation actions to deal with those challenge.

Dissemination and Communication Plan and Activities, version 3 (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

A detailed European communication plan will be developed in order to ensure the project’s visibility and support the effective dissemination of the SCCALE outputs. This report will be updated regularly in M24 and M42.

Pipeline of replication sites (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This report will be a collection of replication sites including a description of the context, needs, potential stakeholders and main contact point. Collection of templates for replication sites.

SCCALE Contractual Guide (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This guide includes templates and guidance on governance structures of energy communities in order to deliver the principles of “open and voluntary participation”, “effective control” and “environmental, economic or social community benefits to its members” as primary purpose as they are stated in the definitions. The guide will also include a facilitation tool to support stakeholders in building a balanced governance.

Activity report of the SCCALE' Advisory Committee (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This report will collect the results of the work of the SCCALE 20-30-50 advisory board and describe the activities performed by the consortium to reach out to external experts.

Report on EU Policy events (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This deliverable will include meeting notes, attendance list and pictures from the two policy meetings organised by RES and ENC. As well as policy briefings relevant at the European level to highlight barriers and opportunities linked to the implementation of the collective citizen energy action schemes.

This report describes in details the engagement methodologies deployed in each pilot site.

SCCALE Municipal Guide (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This guide will include both best practices to implement whilst creating the energy community, and investigate barriers to municipal involvement in the current public procurement and tendering rules in the project’s five pilot countries (FR, BE, NL, HR and GR).
