Innovative Transactive Renewable Energy Communities

Objective

INNO-TREC brings together a group of preeminent energy industry and research partners focused on revolutionising the RECs sector. It is fully aligned with the EU’s vision for the energy transition as it proposes to develop the next generation of tools, methodologies and platforms that really work for RECs. These advancements will be fully tested and demonstrated in 6 DEMOs in 6 countries (Portugal, Greece, Belgium, Ireland, UK and Italy). INNO-TREC will address the barriers, motivations and drivers from energy users' perspective, intertwining the new technological developments with SSH expertise, thus producing high-level TRL 6-7 innovative results by the end of this project.
