Reshment with advanced energy yield

Objective

To propose an efficient, innovative and economically sustainable technology based on an advanced energy yield process in order to provide a solution for the management of large quantities of ASR produced in EU (currently being landfilled) and to comply with the EU directive EU 2000/53/EG for end of life vehicles (ELV).

In particular, the following operative objectives will be achieved through:
1) Cyclone Energy efficiency improvement through air preheat/flue gas circulation concepts, and full-scale testing and validation;
2) Assessment of the EU ASR market, its characterisation as well as construction and validation of an economic model;
3) Verification of economical and ecological advantages, allowing for other biomass/waste fuel co-combustion;
4) Sizing of an ASR plant to be built, as a reference ASR energy recovery plant for EU.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: https://op.europa.eu/en/web/eu-vocabularies/euroscivoc.
