This deliverable will present the overall mid-project results and insights.

Intermediate 5G V2X Radio (opens in new window)

The intermediate report will address the preliminary design of the 5G V2X radio interface allowing for ultra-reliable and low latency communications between moving vehicles, VRU and the network infrastructure.

Demonstration Guidelines (opens in new window)

This deliverable will contain descriptions on the set up and general guidelines for the demonstrations to take place within the project.

Final Report on Standardization, Dissemination and Exploitation Activities (opens in new window)

This deliverable will evaluate the dissemination outcome of the 5GCAR project. The contributions to standardization and regulation will be listed.

Automotive Use Cases and Connectivity Challenges, Business Models and Spectrum Related Aspects (opens in new window)

This deliverable will contain the V2X business model concepts identified in 5GCAR project w.r.t. the scenarios and use cases reported in D2.1. Further, the spectrum options are exploited to identify suitable V2X spectrum and on how it can support the use cases from a capacity perspective.

Final Design and Evaluation of the 5G V2X System Level Architecture and Security Framework (opens in new window)

This deliverable will provide the final design of the system architecture and security framework, including evaluation of the performances of V2X communications for mission-critical scenarios whilst guaranteeing a high level of security and respecting the privacy constraints.

Intermediate Report on Standardization, Dissemination and Exploitation Activities (opens in new window)

This report will evaluate the intermediate dissemination outcome of the 5GCAR project. The contributions to standardization and regulation will be listed.

Initial Design of the 5G V2X System Level Architecture and Security Framework (opens in new window)

This deliverable will address the preliminary design of 5G system architecture and security framework for V2X communications enabling the latency reduction and reliability increase to cope with future automotive driving use cases.

5GCAR Scenarios, Use Cases, Requirements and KPIs (opens in new window)

This deliverable will contain scenarios and consolidated V2X use cases with specified requirements and key performance indicators. The already existing use case consensus within 5G PPP and other bodies such as ETSI and ITU-R will be refined for use in WP3, WP4, and WP5.

Report on Channel Modelling and Positioning for 5G V2X (opens in new window)

The report will summarize the channel modelling study as well as address the 5G positioning enablers in the design of 5G system, allowing for accurate positioning of VRUs.

Intermediate Report on V2X Business Models and Spectrum (opens in new window)

This report will present a preliminary assessment on suitable V2X business models and rationale on suitable V2X spectrum. Taking into consideration different stakeholders and different types of V2X services.

This deliverable will consist of the establishment and maintenance of the project website. To facilitate coordination and sharing of information a secured part will be made accessible to partners.
