Validation of advanced combustion models for ignition and lean extinction (opens in new window)

Numerical simulations of ignition and extinction for premixed as well as for liquid spray injectors and with strong mean azimuthal swirl for annular combustors in T3.1. Development and validation of combustion models used in the LES will be undertaken, thickened flame model (CERFACS), CMC (UCAM) and FTACLES (CNRS).
