Deliverables
final documentation of RBS,QRBS, cancer diagnosis application
ASG 1.0 and (Open source software) (opens in new window)The final version of the ASG package will be released. It will allow for division of molecules that have an almost linear shape (polymers) into an arbitrary amount of sub spaces. For molecules which are clearly non-linear, up to four subspaces will be possible. Moreover, the final version of BBO will be released. It should now be possible to generate Hamiltonians for reasonably sized molecules with correction beyond the Born-Oppenheimer approximation. It should also be possible to restrict the number of electronic orbitals very strongly, such that the overall number of degrees of freedom stays reasonably small.
RO 1.0 (Open source software) (opens in new window)The final version of the RO package will be released. Including all features discussed in Task 4.4.
QCCC Gamma (Open source software) (opens in new window)The first version of the VQE solver for graphene (+CO2) will be made public, discussed in Task 4.5.
RO Beta (Open source software) (opens in new window)The first version of the readout optimization (RO) package will be available and the first version of the VQE solver for CO2+benzene will be made public, discussed in Task 4.5. RO Beta will contain a method to improve the readout quality by imposing fermionic marginal constraints on the measurement results, and a Bayesian optimizer for the number of measurements.
QNLP pre-alpha prototype (opens in new window)QNLP prealpha prototype
QRBS SW specifications (opens in new window)Implementation of QRL algorithm on real architecture (opens in new window)
QNLP Beta prototype v2 (opens in new window)
VA Beta and BBO Beta (Open source software) (opens in new window)
A first version of the Hamiltonian preparation including beyond BornOppenheimer BBO terms will be finished and a first version of our variational algorithms VA package will be finished The BBO module will make use of PySCF and work at first only for very small molecules The VA Package will contain at least the VQEUSSCD Ansatz and a brute force translation to gates
QPSA algorithms and benchmarking (opens in new window)Qbenchmark report on the set of instances defined in D6.6 (M18) and the different recent algorithms explored in this direction and a discussion on their results performances and their practicality for an industrial use
Initial release of libraries (opens in new window)Initial release of libraries, then iterative releases in continuous integration mode between major release.
QPSA Divide and Quantum open source software (opens in new window)Completion of first software suite (Open source software) (opens in new window)
We will have a combined release of VA 1.0, ASG Beta and BBO 1.0. This will allow for smooth benchmarking on simulated quantum computers. The individual tools will have the following specifications:• The full VA package will be released. Approaches like UCCSD and VHA will be included. Translation to gate sets will be provided. •A first version of the automatic subspace generation will be finished. It will at least be able to split a molecule into two parts, which can be evaluated independently on a quantum computer. Each part can be passed to BBO and, then to VA 1.0. •A first version of BBO module will be released.
