iToBoS challenges, execution of two open challenges (si apre in una nuova finestra)

The objective is the organization of two challenges: the first one for lesion detection and the second for lesion classification using the full body image datasets in combination with all the available information about every patient. These challenges, inspired by the ISIC challenge on skin image analysis, will facilitate advancements in the development of “cognitive assistants” and contribute to the knowledge dissemination in the field. In an effort to support the basic principle of Open Access to research data, iToBoS project aims at following best practice by retaining all the research data that will be produced (anonymised images, clinical history, genomics data, etc.) and preparing it to be shared through the organisation of a challenge in an international conference (i.e. MICCAI or similar), and its corresponding workshop.
