Project description
Cloud-based platform for increased productivity
In recent decades, companies have been following a trend in decentralising company structure, which has provided them with improved productivity, a more engaged workforce, and increased accessibility and interactivity with their customer bases. This, however, has come with problems. For instance, a decentralised company structure means that communication inside the company becomes more difficult and decisions that affect the company as a whole pose higher risks. The EU-funded ahead project will provide a solution for in-company communication by developing and introducing a cloud-based platform that will not only help with communication but also decrease time spent in repetitive tasks and improve productivity.
Objective
Across all segments, companies require an engaged workforce to deliver results, productivity and customer commitment. Concerns about productivity are valid given the increasing complexity of a business, distracted employees, poor communication, and waste of time for simple repetitive tasks.
As companies grow to be more and more decentralized, collaborative digital platforms are becoming increasingly important in the business landscape, breaking down communication barriers within the company, but also with their customers. They enable up to 20-25% greater productivity across the value chain and 0.9 to 1.3trillian€ annual value to sectors such as financial services, advanced manufacturing, professional services. Current intranets require complex installations (14months) and behave inefficiently (4-7 months average lifespan). They fail at facilitating internal communications, search for information and at keeping employees engaged.
To solve this problem, we at Isolutions AG have developed ahead, the 1st European Intelligent Digital Workspace. Swiss founded, we have been supporting digital transformation of companies since 1999, setting standards for intranet workspaces software. With ahead we have demonstrated companies reach 90% higher user engagement and 25% increased productivity reliving dreary tasks through Artificial Intelligence. This will shift manual repetitive tasks towards automated and customized processes, reducing search time up to 50%. A cloud-based solution, it removes costs on IT infrastructure and project development to clients.
We embrace an Intranet as a Service standardised business approach and a per-user clear freemium-to-premium subscription model. Through the completion of this project we expect to reach 36.5M€ cumulated revenues and cumulated profit of 23.2 M€, 5 years after its commercialization. Phase 2 will require 2M€ investment, which will generate a 10.31 Return of Investment by 2026.
