The PARE Report provides the first comprehensive assessment of all 23 ACARE Goals in the same format, benefiting also from the more detailed work in specific areas performed by 6 other aeronautics CSAs (Coordination and Support Actions), namely: AERO-UA, CAMERA, ICARe, OPTICS2, RADIAN and RINGO.
The PARE Report justifies 58 Recommendations on aeronautics research in Horizon Europe 2020 – 2026 relating to the implementation of the 23 ACARE Goals and 35 complementary PARE Objectives. The PARE Report also includes prospective “What If?” studies of two issues that could have significant impact on the future of aviation.
Besides fostering communication and exchange of ideas among specialists, the PARE Project also informs the general public about key issues, findings, conclusions and recommendations about the impact of aviation in the daily life of the citizen, both now and what can be expected in the future.
The PARE 3rd Year Report also addresses recent issues like the Boeing 737 Max grounding and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on aviation and future implications. Also looking to the future, the New Green Deal of the European Union is considered in the context of the environmentally friendly aviation. These topics of high current interest have been addressed in 3 webinars (the presentations used are available at
