Today, there is a raising concern about food origins. More and more, population opts for a more sustainable production free of intense growing methods, GMOs, chemical inputs as synthetic fertiliser and pesticides, soil and water respectful and with a low carbon footprint.
In an attempt to change their situation, European population are trying to grow small amounts of vegetables at its own garden, terrace, backyard or balcony which is usually known as urban farming.
Myfood aims clearly to urban population of the European Union, bridging the knowledge gap between food autonomy and applied aquaponics. Myfood is a new concept based on a close, versatile and adaptable, household, efficient and sustainable production of food, all accompanied with a big return of investment.
The main objectives of the project are:
• Optimisation of some of the Myfood elements.
• Industrialisation of the three turnkey solutions: City, Family and Farm
• Consolidate and expand our commercial network based on a B2B and a B2C approach.
The FS shows the novelty of our innovation and the great benefits that would bring to users. Further, confirms its technical feasibility and commercial profitability even in the worst scenario.
