Identification and Analysis of accidental sequences posing high H2/CO combustion risk (PWR-W, PWR-VVER, PWR-KWU)

The report will set the criteria on which the sequences that will become the reference of the whole project will be picked (i.e., total combustible gas produced, generation rates, in-containment distribution, etc.). In addition, it will provide a comprehensive description of such sequences. The selection process will be done on the database generated within the tasks 2.2 through 2.4.

Data for the generic containment analysis (PWR-W, PWR-VVER, PWR-KWU)

The report will gather the data essential to build a generic lumped-parameter containment model which representative is plausible in terms of H2 and CO distribution. According to the scope of the WP2, three individual sections will deal with the three types of PWRs (Westinghouse, VVER and KWU) the tasks addressing calculations will be focused on.

This document will summarize the experimental program and establish modelling guidelines for the simulation of PAR operation.

Synthesis and outcomes of performed experiments and numerical results related to H2/CO/H2O combustion

This document will summarize both the experimental investigation as well as the numerical simulations. The engineering correlations will be described and their applicability range assessed as a preliminary work for work package 4.

Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication Strategy and Plan

This plan will outline all the activities to be carried out during the 48 months of the project, and will include the overall strategy to follow, the key messages, the target audiences, the visual identity and social media channels, the tools to be used, and the expected results in terms of audience.

Engineering correlations

WP4 founds on the implementation of new engineering correlations and criteria, derived from the closed knowledge gaps in WP3. To facilitate implementation in the codes and application, they will be documented in deliverable D4.1.
